Like it has in the past, all numbers related to the cellular industry are estimated to increase in the 2011 year. It is assumed that the amount of people who will be carrying cell phones will be over 300 million. Specialists estimate that the number of people using smartphones will be in the range of 150 million people, drastically taking control of the market. Of the 300 million using cellular devices, 120 million of them will be surfing the web on their phone as opposed to just their home computers. Another drastic boost in numbers will be dealing with those who watch mobile video from their phones, approximately 90 million! I estimate that electric bills will drastically rise to keep all of these devices fully charged and ready to go!
With the direction that our economy has been going, people are looking to shave unneeded costs in any way that they can. Many are starting to realize one cost they can cut, their land line. Land line? You remember, that clunky thing that used to hang from a wall in your kitchen or maybe on a end table in your living room.
